Rep. Jamie RaskinRep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, lead House manager of the second impeachment trial of former President Trump, plans to speak on how the United States can move forward amid polarized politics at a National Press Club Virtual Headliners Newsmaker event on at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8.

Trump's second impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate ended Feb. 13 with 57 senators voting to convict, falling short of the two-thirds majority, or 67 votes, needed to convict. 

Raskin serves on the House Judiciary, Oversight, Administration and Rules Committees. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School and was professor of constitutional law at American University's Washington College of Law for more than 25 years.
