Nessen joined the club in the spring of 2014 and, until his health declined, was an active member of the Club's Broadcast and Podcast Team. Before he retired from active journalism and communications work, he was press secretary to President Gerald Ford and was a correspondent at NBC News, including covering the Nixon White House and five stints reporting from Vietnam. New privacy work booths arrive Tuesday on the 14th floor
The National Press Club is upgrading the 14th-floor member workspace with the installation of privacy work booths on Tuesday, March 18. The booths will offer a quiet space for focused work, video calls, or phone calls. The Club is adding the booths in response to member feedback. During the installation, the workspace in the hallway outside of the fitness center and back to the 14th-floor studio will be unavailable. We appreciate your patience as we complete this upgrade!
