Travel to Normandy, Paris in November

The National Press Club is sponsoring a trip Nov. 8-15 to Normandy and Paris, including a visit to Mont St. Michel.

After flying non-stop from Washington Dulles to Paris, you will travel by bus to Bayeux Normandy for an opportunity to see the historic Bayeux Tapestry of Queen Matilda, which dates from the 10th century.

From Bayeux -- over the next two days -- you will visit Mont St. Michel, St. Lo, St. Mere Eglise, Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery.

Then it's on to Paris for four nights and sightseeing, including a tour "behind the scenes" at the Paris Opera House and a tasting at the Wine Museum. Optional trips can be arranged to Versailles, the Moulin Rouge and even to Brussels or London.

The trip costs $2985 per person, double occupancy. A single-room supplement is an additional $765. The price includes round-trip economy airfare from Dulles to Paris, two nights accommodations in Bayeux and four in Paris, buffet breakfast daily and sightseeing in Normandy and Paris as described above.
