Time is running out to register for gathering at Club on July 4

If you want to watch the famous D.C. fireworks, cool off and enjoy drinks and snacks in the air-conditioned comfort of the Club with family and friends on July 4, you need to reserve now.

The Club will be officially closed for the holiday. But members and their guests who reserve by noon on Monday, July 2, can gain admittance to the low-key gathering in the First Amendment Lounge, where the great views of downtown D.C. are bonus.

A huge television screen in the lounge will beam the PBS telecast of the events on the Mall, climaxed by the fireworks. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for guests. Kids are free, but reservations are required for all.

Members who have not reserved in advance for the event will not be admitted to the Club, as the Club will be closed. To be obtain access on July 4, members must come to the Club on July 2 or 3 to obtain a wristband. This wristband and/or your eventbrite ticket will be your entrance to the Club.

Wrist bands will be available for pick-up on July 2 and July 3 for reserved guests at the front desk.
