Club mentorship program launches with Tuesday mixer

The National Press Club mentorship program is up and running. We've recently connected 32 members with their new professional partners.

We're also still accepting applications for both new mentors and mentees. We're looking for journalists and communicators interested in being partnered with a fellow journalist and communicator at a different stage of their career.

Please fill out the application survey to the best of your ability and we’ll do our best to find someone who we can connect you with. That link is above and also here.

Once a match is made you are free to begin meeting and communicating at your convenience and in whatever format and styles you prefer.

And a reminder we’ll host a Mentorship Mixer to formally launch the program in the Truman Lounge from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. Please come if you are interested in joining the program but haven't yet filled out an application.

Please feel free to email Darren Samuelsohn, leader of the Club's Professional Development Team [email protected] and Club Program Manager Cecily Scott Martin [email protected] with any questions.
