The National Press Club hosted a program on Aug. 14, 2022 to raise awareness of the case of Austin Tice, a journalist and Marine veteran held in Syria since 2012.

Speakers included Debra and Marc Tice; Tony Hunter, CEO, McClatchy; John DeGioia, President, Georgetown University; Jen Judson, President, The National Press Club; Secretary of State Anthony Blinken (via video); and Fred Ryan, Publisher, The Washington Post (via video).
