Top CEO Carly Fiorina to address 'big data" and politics at July 1 luncheon

At a time when the intersection of “Big Data” and politics makes daily headlines, the National Press Club's July 1 luncheon speaker, Carly Fiorina, is a seasoned expert.

Fiorina, former chairman and chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005, played key roles in two presidential campaigns and now leads Good360, the world's largest product philanthropy organization. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Good360 helps major companies to donate slow-moving, obsolete or seasonal items to thousands of charitable organizations.

Politics has also been central to Fiorina’s work in recent years, having played key roles in the Republican presidential campaigns of both John McCain and Mitt Romney. She ran unsuccessfully in an effort to defeat Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer.
