February 19 NPC Luncheon with Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz
February 12, 2014 | By Rod Kuckro | email@example.com
U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz is wrestling with the challenges posed by unprecedented domestic supplies of energy and the demands in some quarters to push for more exports.
He will address that issue and others at a National Press Club Luncheon on at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 in the Ballroom.
Moniz is closely involved in the Obama Administration’s Quadrennial Energy Review and he has called for that effort to include a greater emphasis on infrastructure, including transmission and distribution and fuel diversity.
Remarks will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $22 for Club members and up to one guest, and $36 for non-members.
Tickets must be purchased at time of reservation. For questions regarding reservations, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (202) 662-7501.
Club members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to VIPreception@press.org 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. Members must have a paid reservation to the luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
To submit a question in advance, put MONIZ in the subject line and email to email@example.com before 10 a.m. on the day of the luncheon.
