Dinner plans to celebrate winner of Anthony Shadid Journalism Ethics Award, April 5

National Press Club members are invited to attend a dinner on Thursday, April 5, honoring the winner of the Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics.

Discounted tickets are available to Club members. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will be held in the ballroom. Tickets are $35 a person for non-members, $30 a person for Club members and $25 a person for University of Wisconsin alumni.

The award is presented annually by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Center for Journalism Ethics in memory of Anthony Shadid ’90, the late Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism alumnus and international reporter for The Washington Post and The New York Times.

The evening includes a reception, dinner and program featuring Thomas Friedman, a three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for The New York Times.
