DeGette, Democrats' chief deputy whip, to discuss what next for healthcare at Newsmaker, March 29

What's next in the Congressional battle for healthcare legislation? Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., chief deputy whip of the Democratic Caucus who played a major role in the development of the Affordable Care Act, will discuss bipartisan solutions to healthcare at a National Press Club Newsmaker news conference at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, in the Bloomberg Room.

De Gette is serving her 11th term representing Colorado’s 1st District. She is a member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, serving as the vice chair from 2007 to 2010 and as the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations since 2011.
