Washingtonian Food Editors Jessica Sidman and Anna Spiegel will discuss their December 2018 cover story on the rise and fall of Chef Mike Isabella at a Story Tellers session on at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 17. Storytellers is a new idea designed for journalists across mediums to talk about their work and share ideas.

Read the story here: https://www.washingtonian.com/2018/11/26/the-inside-story-of-mike-isabellas-fallen-empire/

How did they get Isabella to talk on the record? How did they follow documents and talk to investors? How did they co-write a story and go through the editing process? Whether you cover daily news, are deep in the weeds of covering regulations or somewhere in between, you will walk away from this “How I Got the Story” session with good ideas.

Former NPC President and POLITICO States team deputy editor Angela Greiling Keane will moderate the discussion.

This event is free and for NPC-members and their guests. Please RSVP here so we can get an accurate headcount.
