"Rasika: Flavors of India" Dinner at The Fourth Estate Restaurant

Location: 4th Estate Restaurant


Rasika: Flavors of IndiaHors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30pm with dinner following at 7pm. The cost is $95 for individual tickets, with a $10 discount when purchasing two of the "Couples Discount" tickets. NPC Members are eligible for an additional 15% discount on all their tickets with login. Wines will be paired with every course; the exact vintner to be determined.

A copy of "Rasika: Flavors of India" is included with each individual ticket; one copy for each pair of couples tickets.


Hors d’oeuvres

  • Cauliflower bezule, South Indian spicy fried cauliflower florets
  • Shammi kebab, lamb patties with mint-cilantro chutney
  • Mango shrimp, Tandoori-style
  • Malai chicken tikka, Northern India creamy tandoori-style chicken kebabs

To drink:  Ginger Pom Pisco Sour

First Course

Palak chaat: crispy spinach with tomato, onion, tamarind and yogurt

Vegan option: without yogurt

To drink: Viognier, Stag’s Leap, Napa Valley, CA 2017

Fish Course

Black cod with honey and dill rice vermicelli

Vegan option: Asparagus uttapam, rice and dal pancakes with asparagus and coconut chutney

To drink: Tapestry, Beaulieu Vineyards, Napa, CA 2014


Locally-made lime/lemon sorbet


Smoked pork vindaloo, Jeera saffron rice and Bhindi amchoor, okra with mango powder

Vegan option:  Gujarati eggplant and sweet potato lasagna with asparagus kadi sauce

Table accompaniments:  Mango chutney with saffron,  mint-cilantro chutney, lime pickle; and cucumber raita

To drink:  Kalimna Shiraz, Bin 28, Penfolds, Barossa Valley, South Australia 2014
