How can facts prevail over misinformation? What is the most effective way for an organization to communicate its wrongdoing? How can a crisis be averted? How can damage be minimized? These questions and more will be addressed during this panel discussion with Communicators Team members about crisis communication.
This event is open only to NPC members and there is no charge for admission. Beverages and snacks will be available for sale at the Reliable Source Bar and Grill. Networking and socializing will begin at 6 p.m., and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Karen Naumann, APR, PMP, is a multifaceted, seasoned practitioner with more than 25 years of communication experience. She is a communications educator, executive, and author. She is a DoD contractor and an Adjunct Instructor and Course Developer in Crisis Communications at West Virginia University, where she instructs active military, earning a graduate degree. The award-winning communicator is frequently tapped as a speaker and facilitator for conferences and events on topics ranging from Cognitive Biases and Crisis Communications to Strategic Communications and Persuasion. She is also a frequent contributor to national publications and a published author in public relations. Naumann is Accredited in Public Relations (APR).
