A panel of communications industry experts will review the latest trends in public relations influenced by the global pandemic at the next NPC Communicators Virtual Lunch and Learn on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 12 p.m. EDT.

Paul Duning, Phil Rabin and Jeffrey Davis of Capitol Communicator will discuss the transformation of the public relations profession that started before the onset of the coronavirus but has accelerated because of it. The NPC Communicators Team is hosting the session. Registration is free and open only to NPC members.

The panelists will examine the restructuring of legacy international public relations firms in the wake of the changing communications landscape during the pandemic along with the rise of the independent practitioner. They also will explain the increasing reliance on digital communications to reach target audiences and influencers.

Capitol Communicator is a media and events company serving marketing, public relations, digital and media communications professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region. The firm also organizes the annual MAC (Marketing, Advertising and Communications) Summit. The NPC is collaborating with Capitol Communicator to host this year’s summit, which will be held virtually on Oct. 22 to 23.
