Michael Midddleton, the University of Missouri System interim president, will speak at a National Press Club Speakers breakfast on Tuesday June 21.

Middleton was appointed to head the University of Missouri last year following racial tension and protests on its flagship campus. He will speak about moving the university forward amid a national conversation about diversity, equity and inclusion that was sparked by the protests.

Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. with remarks beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a Q&A session ending at 10 a.m. Tickets cost $24 for National Press Club members and one guest and $38 for non-members.
