Reminder: Library hours, resources for Club member access
Members of the National Press Club have access to the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The members-only library is self-service. In-person library resources available include a Bloomberg Terminal, the Leadership Connect database, and LexisNexis. Remote access is not available. No food or drink is allowed in the library. The library is a member-only space; guests of members may not use library computers or resources. Members may request use of the library conference room, which seats up to six for meetings. Tour the National Press Club Archives, April 25
Jeffrey Schlosberg, NPC's archivist, will also be leading a tour of the Archives on Friday, April 25, at 12 p.m. The Archives preserve collections of materials from the National Press Club, the Washington Press Club (formerly the Women’s National Press Club), and The Gridiron Club. Veteran reporter offers tips on gaining public records, narrowing FOIA requests
The National Press Club Journalism Institute interviewed NPC member and investigative journalist Miranda Spivack on advice for journalists when faced with roadblocks to open access records.
