Fitness Center to close through Dec. 16 for renovation
The National Press Club Fitness Center’s-weight and exercise room will close temporarily from Thursday, Dec. 5, until Monday, Dec. 16. The Club is replacing the existing carpet with a resilient rubber surface that will have slip-resistance and is designed to reduce body fatigue, mute noise levels, and provide superior impact absorption. Bloomberg Radio reporter Adrienne Metil dies at 59
Adrienne Metil, known professionally as Adrienne Mitchell to millions of radio listeners around the country, died Nov. 24 at the Washington Hospital Center after a nearly year-long battle with endometrial cancer. She was 59.
