Club to close briefly Wednesday morning for security sweep
The Club will be closed from 9 a.m to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday for a security sweep. Members will be asked to exit the Club by 9 a.m. so the officials can conduct the security sweep. Members may return at 10:30 a.m., but must pass through a metal detector. Please allow extra time in your schedule to pass through security. Breakfast at The Reliable Source will end promptly at 9 a.m. The Reliable Source will be re-open for lunch, however the Fourth Estate will not open until dinner. Masculine Stereotypes film "The Mask You Live In" Screened at Club
The National Press Club on March 6 hosted a screening of a documentary exploring the societal effects of masculine stereotypes, and a panel discussion with the film’s director, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. A diverse young crowd filled the Holeman Lounge to take in the “The Mask You Live In,” which tackles the question of what it means to be a boy and then a man in a today’s culture of ubiquitous media.
