With Washington's summer doldrums departing, the Reliable Source restaurant announces a busy September. The National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 is again sponsoring Christmas wreaths to be laid at the U.S. Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery. All members of the Press Club are invited to participate. With the link below, you can sponsor a wreath and/or volunteer to place the wreaths on Saturday, Dec. 13. (Please note: If you sponsor a wreath, you do not have to be on hand Dec. 13 to place it. Volunteers will do that for you. But you are welcome to place wreaths, as well, if you like.) New Members of the National Press Club are invited to a reception on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Fourth Estate Room. Register online. The American Legion Post 20 affiliated with the National Press Club resumes its monthly meetings after a summer break on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at noon in the McClendon Room of the Club's Reliable Source restaurant.
