Data Reporting with SQL
SQL allows users to deal with much larger data sets than a simple spreadsheet does, and it allows more complex operations like matching items from two lists (“joining”). Learn the fundamentals of finding and importing data, and learn to write queries on your own. Instructor JoElla Straley will show you how to find connections in data that tell a story. The class will run from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Library Conference Room. Registration is $20 for NPC members; $40 public. All sales are final.

A four-week career coaching session for up to eight participants starts Jan. 13 with career counselor Jackie Jones at the cost of $80 for members, $200 for non-members. A former Washington Post editor and Penn State University lecturer, Jones will focus on retooling one's career amid New Year's Resolutions.
