Explore the secret life of food, sample delicious appetizers, taste sangria, learn and laugh at the National Press Club at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Susan Delbert, the Club's executive chef, and Shirley O. Corriher, James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, will combine humor and cooking know-how with the simply explained science behind specially prepared appetizers and sangria.

The event is open to the public, and registration is required. Admission is $10 for Club members and $15 for non-members. The price includes appetizers and a glass of sangria.
