Tonight: Women's Salon Night to tackle questions of the day
Historically, in many cultures, women have hosted Salon Nights to talk about the bigger questions of the day. These philosophical and intellectual conversations have fostered communities, ideas, epiphanies, partnerships and so much more.
The National Press Club will hold the next in the series of its own Women's Salon Nights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the Cosgrove Lounge. At this Salon, we will discuss topics ranging from art and creativity to community building and the future of journalism and communications.
Men, you are appreciated, but this meetup is just for those who identify as women.
Maria Rodriguez, president and CEO of Vanguard Communications and Communicator member of the Club's Board of Governors, will lead the conversation at this Salon. We will focus on the challenges and opportunities that women face in journalism and communications, and how we can lead the future of media amidst digital transformation.
