Tonight: International Correspondents Committee social

The National Press Club's International Correspondents Committee holds its next social Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. in the Truman Lounge.

Club members are invited to stop by to mingle, network and discuss current events with the team.

Want to get involved with the ICC and its programs and participate in its activities, including the biannual embassy press attaché mixers and monthly Embassy Nights? Plan to be there and learn about the committee's upcoming social gatherings and sourcing opportunities. The ambassador of Iraq, the ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis, and the Austrian Embassy have hosted the ICC for events, as just a few examples. More recently, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the U.S. hosted ICC members to share more about Taiwan-U.S. relations.

Use one of these methods to sign up: 1) submit your reservation to the Reliable Source by emailing [email protected], putting International Correspondents Social in the subject line and indicating you are attending the Sept. 25 event; 2) submit your reservation via the Club's online "Book a Reservation" form (please indicate "attending the International Correspondents Social" in the Special Requests/Notes field); or call in your reservation to (202) 662-7443.

And there's another social Wednesday, Oct. 15, same time and place. Same reservation instructions.
