In a letter to acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney in June, Cummings complained that the White House had ignored the committee's requests for information and has not complied with the Presidential Records Act. The committee is seeking notes on Trump's private conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Cummings, who represents Baltimore in Maryland’s 7th congressional district, also will discuss the Oversight Committee’s investigation into the prescription drug industry’s pricing practices, launched earlier this year.

Lunch will be served in the Holeman Lounge at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for Club members (members may purchase two tickets at this rate) and $39 for all other non-member tickets.

For all ticketing-related questions, please email [email protected]. Tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase. To submit a question for the speaker in advance, put OVERSIGHT in the subject line and email to [email protected]. The deadline for submitting questions in advance is 10 a.m. on the day of the luncheon.
