Women's Rights in Wartime
Ms. Gandy spoke about women's rights as the U.S. engaged in a war on terrorism. Among the topics she addressed were various reactions to the September 11 terrorist attacks, preserving civil liberties, and military women's issues. Following her remarks she answered questions from the audience.
