Victims' Rights Issues
Ms. Herman talked about her work at the National Center for Victims of Crime. She provided current crime statistics in the United States and how crime affects families and businesses. She also encouraged the creation of distinct divisions in the justice system that would separately address victims and criminals. Following her prepared remarks she answered questions from the audience.
