Taxation of Electronic Commerce
Governor Gilmore spoke about regulation and taxation of electronic commerce. Among the issues he addressed were the potential burdens of taxing Internet sales, the potential benefits of such taxes, and future plans to study the issue while a moratorium was in place. After his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
