Summit of the Americas Preview

The participants previewed some of the topics for the Summit of the Americas, including Latin American access to the U.S. markets and enlargement of NAFTA. The Summit of the Americas will be held in Miami December 9-11. The United States has invited thirty-four democratically-elected Western Hemisphere heads of state to create a new partnership based on free trade and consolidation of democracy throughout the hemisphere.
