Social Security Issues
Mr. Apfel talked about the importance of strengthening Social Security for the generations to come. He stated that Social Security is not in crisis at the present, however, the time to save it is now. He also explained that broad-based public support is needed to save Social Security because there is skepticism in some people's minds. Mr. Apfel responded to written questions from the audience.
