The National Press Club's annual Civil War tour on Saturday, July 23, is filling up quickly. Secretary Manglapus is in the United States to meet with legislators and administration officials following recent announcements by the United States and the Philippines that significant progress had been made in negotiations over military bases in the Philippines. Driverless cars have the potential to save thousands of lives by eliminating the main cause of highway crashes –- human error –- National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Christopher Hart said Thursday at a National Press Club Newsmakers Luncheon.
