NSA chief Rogers to speak on cyber security at Club luncheon tomorrow
National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers will discuss the continuing cyber security challenges facing the United States and the world at a National Press Club luncheon tomorrow, July 14. Rogers has said encryption makes it more difficult to intercept terrorist groups' communication and warned that vital U.S. computer networks, such as the power grid, have been infiltrated by hackers which could lead to attacks of significant consequence. The Democrats’ campaign for congressional candidates in 2016, unlike recent cycles, will feature a “national” message that emphasizes Donald Trump’s “bullying” and “toxic” statements, Democratic Congressional Campaign (DCCC) Chair Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.Mex., told a National Press Club Newsmaker Tuesday.
