Journalists who cover specialties like aerospace, defense and the airline industry should start preparing their entries for the National Press Club journalism contest. The Club is looking for the best work from 2020 about the issues, trends and watchdog journalism about these industries for the Michael A. Dornheim Award. This award is presented in celebration of the career of the late Michael Dornheim, a longtime reporter and editor at Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine. There is a $1,000 prize for the winner. At a dinner program actor Ashley Judd, global ambassador for YouthAIDS, described its program and what she has seen in travels to areas where HIV is pandemic. She said that young people ages 15 to 24 should be particularly targeted for HIV/AIDS prevention. She wants the U.S. government to appropriate more money for HIV prevention and care overseas.
