It's been this way for decades: If it’s Friday, it’s Taco Night at the National Press Club. This time-honored ritual has been the birthplace of friendships, story tips and many great conversations. Club's American Legion post to host national commander at lunch tomorrow after his Newsmaker appearance
Charles E. Schmidt, National Commander of the American Legion, will join members of the National Press Cliub's American Legion Post 20 as the post's luncheon meeting guest following his morning Newsmaker press conference tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 22). Schmidt's 10 a.m. Newsmaker in the Bloomberg Room will be followed by the 11:30 a.m. lunch meeting in the Cosgrove Lounge. The meeting is open to Post members and their guests.
