The National Press Club’s Silver Owls will present the Order of the Owl to the Club’s executive director, Bill McCarren, at their Holiday Hoot on Thursday, Nov. 30. Journalism advocates deplore attempt to deport Press Freedom Award winner
The National Press Club, its Journalism Institute and other advocates for press freedom and immigration justice urge U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to suspend efforts to deport Emilio Gutierrez, a winner of the Club’s Press Freedom Award. Marines are looking for a few good social media experts
Younger members of the Marine Corps are being pressed into service to use social media to tell the world about their mission. That's according to Brig. Gen. William Seely III, director of Marine Corps communications, spoke at Tuesday's meeting of National Press Club American Legion Post 20.
