Over 30 years, the Paul Miller fellowships have trained almost 600 journalists. This all-expenses-paid journalist training is one day a month from September 2017 to June 2018. Former Energy Secretary Ernest J. Moniz announced formation of a new organization to drive innovation in energy technology and policy at a National Press Club Headliners Newsmaker news conference June 21. Peter Baker, chief White House correspondent for the New York Times, plans to appear at a Headliners Book Rap Thursday, June 29, to discuss his new book, Obama:The Call of History. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Club's Conference Rooms. The Book Rap will include a discussion with the author, a question-and-answer session from the audience and then a signing session Tickets are $5 for Club members and $10 for the general public.
