Washington natives and national broadcast legends Connie Chung and Maury Povich will be guests of the National Press Club's Broadcast and Podcast Team for an intimate dinner and discussion on Wednesday, April 17. U.S.-Canada Salmon Negotiations

Mr. Anderson spoke about the state of negotiations over salmon between the U.S. and Canada. Fisherman from both nations accuse their counterparts of overfishing the areas in international waters before they reach Canadian or U.S. streams. Last July Canadian fishermen prevented a U.S. ferry from leaving British Columbia. Mr. Anderson is in Washington for talks with U.S. governmental and environmental group leaders. After his remarks, he took questions from the press.
