The informal group of National Press Club members who are independent authors will gather as planned on Thursday, April 9, with a twist. Members will meet via video conference. Institute launches daily writing group starting Thursday
The National Press Club Journalism Institute is starting a daily writing group for people who want to support each other’s work from wherever they are. The group will meet Mondays through Fridays on Zoom. You can come once or come often, whatever works best for you. The half-hour daily gatherings, from 11:30 a.m.-noon ET, will include a writing prompt, breakout sessions for a thoughtful discussion of work in progress, and an invitation to write for the next day.
