He is part of the legend of the National Press Club, our oldest living president and on Monday evening, September 26, you are invited to help him party like its 2018! The Ballroom will be in full swing that night to celebrate our own John Cosgrove as he turns 98 with the "Can’t Wait To Be 100" Birthday Party. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, the only original member of President Obama's cabinet still serving in the administration, will speak at a National Press Club Luncheon on Monday, October 3. Vilsack, a former governor of Iowa, briefly ran in the 2008 presidential race and was considered by Hillary Clinton as a potential running mate in 2016. Vilsack also leads the President's Rural Task Force, coordinating White House efforts to fight heroin use in rural communities.
