Francesco Stipo, club member, author and president of the USA Club of Rome, Dr. Rohinton Medhora, President of The Centre for International Governance Innovation, and Reid Detchon, Vice President of the United Nations Foundation will speak on "The Future of Global Governance" on Tuesday, April 29th at 12:00 p.m. in the McClendon Room. Joint PBS-NBC Convention Coverage
Mr. Lehrer and Mr. Brokaw spoke about the advantages of joint coverage of the Democratic and Republican national conventions, which PBS and NBC first tried in 1992. They emphasized the news resources of NBC and the credibility and analysis of PBS. They also talked about the particularities and goals of convention coverage After their remarks, they took questions from the audience.
