IRS Commissioner John Koskinen will speak at a National Press Club Luncheon on April 5, less than two weeks before the tax filing deadline. Koskinen is also expected to talk about how budget cuts to federal agencies like the IRS, will affect the agency's ability to operate effectively. It is also anticipated that he will receive questions related to the proposed changes to the tax code. Koskinen has led the IRS since Dec. 2013.
