Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby will discuss whether substantive change is possible in the current environment of college athletics at a National Press Club luncheon on Monday, Sept. 21. The Big 12 has two of the top four teams in the 2015 preseason football bowl subdivision poll. Jane Chu, the chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, will outline her plans for the Arts Endowment’s 50th anniversary activities at a National Press Club Newsmaker Breakfast on Sep. 28.
