American Legion Post 20 will honor Vietnam veterans and legendary Vietnam journalist at April 9 luncheon
Vietnam veterans will be honored at the April 9 luncheon meeting of American Legion Post 20, which is affiliated with the National Press Club. The meeting will take place at noon in the McClendon Room. The guest speaker will be Maj. Gen.Edward J. Chrystal, Jr., director of the U.S. Vietnam War Commemoration. Chrystal will have pins for Vietnam veterans. In addition, Post 20 2nd Vice Commander Kevin Wensing will present a framed tribute honoring legendary reporter Joe Galloway, who was posthumously awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal by President Biden.
