Your new National Press Club member ID card is on its way — check your mailbox soon! Important: New cards have only been printed and mailed to members with no outstanding dues balance. Starting Monday, March 3, you must use your new ID card to access the Club. Old fobs and mobile access will be deactivated. How to use your new card: ✔ Scan the barcode on the wall-mounted scanner next to lane 1. ✔ Tap your card on the top right of the turnstile to open the gate.

Feb. 28 event celebrates 80th anniversary of famous photo: Truman, Bacall at Club's piano
The most famous photo made at the National Press Club was taken 80 years this month. To celebrate that image, Club historian Gil Klein of the History and Heritage Team will present a multimedia program focusing on Harry Truman and the Press Club on Friday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m. in the Fourth Estate Room. The event is free to members and guests but registration is required.
