History and Heritage Team Meeting

The purpose of this team is to collect and record the history of the Press Club and its impact on journalism. This will be a hybrid meeting with members of the History & Heritage Team. Following the meeting, the Documentary Screening of "Shaking It Up: The Life & Times of Liz Carpenter" & a Panel Discussion will be held in the Fourth Estate Room. Another chance to tour Club's Broadcast Operations Center, Friday
The September members-only tour of the Broadcast Operations Center was so popular, it filled up early, so another visit is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25. Click here to register. Randy Hall, the Club's director of facilities and media, will lead the tour. Members should arrive in the 13th floor lobby where Hall will gather the group and bring the members to the center on the 4th floor. National Press Club members are invited to another lively discussion with fellow communications leaders and journalists on current topics that we all face in our function and profession. By sharing our concerns, ideas, approaches and strategies, we help each other be more effective in our roles. Members who register for this dinner may purchase beverages directly from the bar and food from the club’s menu. Food will be served in the Cosgrove lounge.
