As the Washington Wizards seek to defend their Women's National Basketball Association title, the league's commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, will speak at a National Press Club Headliners luncheon on Tuesday, March 3. Engelbert, who became commissioner on July 17, will announce her goals for the league and discuss the nexus between sports and health. She oversees the league’s day-to-day business and basketball operations. Cuisine of Tunisia coming to the Club, Jan. 29
The Fourth Estate Restaurant will feature a menu of Tunisian cuisine on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The dinner will come from the cookbook, "Discovering Tunisian Cuisine" by Judy Hallet, a documentary filmmaker-turned-author. She first discovered Tunisian food as a Peace Corps volunteer and returned to the country 50 years later with her husband Stanley, an architecture professor who had been asked to overhaul the architectural design curriculum at a private university in Tunis.
