House Rules of the National Press Club
The right to use the privileges and facilities of the Club and other property of the Club in accordance with the By-Laws and House Rules of the Club is extended to each member and their permitted guest(s) as well as accredited reporters and attendees at public events. The following House Rules are applicable and subject to change at any time upon approval of the Club’s Board of Governors with appropriate notice to membership.

Kuckro, who celebrates his 43rd year as a Club member Aug. 1, is an active volunteer on an array of teams. His years of service have included roles on Speakers, Newsmakers, House and Forums, which he chaired. For years, he organized the Club’s tennis tournament, and he rekindled the mentoring program for younger members, still serving as a mentor. Summer BBQ Buffet
National Press Club members and their guests are invited to enjoy a Summer BBQ Buffet accompanied by jazz performed by the Greater U Street Jazz Collective on Thursday, July 18 in the Reliable Source. The buffet opens at 5:30 p.m. The jazz performance begins at 6 p.m. in the Truman Lounge. The Greater U Street Jazz Collective performed at the Reliable Source Jazz Night earlier this year. NATO Summit road closures, security measures may impact travel to the Club
The 75th annual NATO Summit underway next week will result in a number of road closures in downtown Washington that may impact your travel to the Club. Click here to find details from the Metropolitan Police Department on road closures. The summit will be held Tuesday, July 9 through Thursday, July 11.
