The National Press Club Fitness Center is located on the 14th Floor. The Fitness Center is a facility that houses all the essential equipment needed to provide a total body workout. The center offers members and staff the use of free weights, Nautilus equipment, ellipticals, treadmills, male and female locker rooms, and a full-time professional trainer. Reading Lolita in Tehran
Professor Nafisi discussed her new book, Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books, published by Random House. Ms. Nafisi is a former professor at the University of Tehran; she now teaches at Johns Hopkins University. The author related her experiences reading banned books in Iran. She also argued for the importance of literature and imagination, and discussed her experiences during the Iran-Iraq War. Following her remarks, Professor Nafisi answered audience questions.

"Discovering Tunisian Cuisine" Dinner at The Fourth Estate Restaurant
The Fourth Estate Restaurant will feature a menu of Tunisian cuisine on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The dinner will come from the cookbook, "Discovering Tunisian Cuisine" by Judy Hallet, a documentary filmmaker-turned-author. She first discovered Tunisian food as a Peace Corps volunteer and returned to the country 50 years later with her husband Stanley, an architecture professor who had been asked to help transform the architectural design studios at a private university in Tunis.
