The National Press Club's next General Membership Meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. this Friday, May 31, in the Conference Rooms. There will not be a livestream, so please plan to attend in person. Only Club members may attend. Registration is required. Members should expect to hear updates on Club membership, finances and activities. There is also expected to be a vote on a proposal for changes to house rules. Get a 'Taste of History' with Post 20 field trip to Cold War Museum, winery in Virginia, June 21
National Press Club American Legion Post 20 invites Club members for a summer visit to the Cold War Museum at Vint Hill, Virginia, near Warrenton, coupled with a wine tasting at Vint Hill Craft Winery. The outing takes place on Friday, June 21. Since we first announced plans, we have had a number of members indicate they will be there, so depending on the final number of participants, we may have to break into two groups, with one doing the wine tasting while the other tours the museum, and vice versa. Member recognized for achievements
National Press Club member T. Vishnudatta Jayaraman has been recognized for his journalistic achievements and his coverage of Indian Americans. Jayaraman, Washington bureau chief of News India Times, was recently presented with a citation issued by New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The citation said: “I applaud T.
