Stern said that a new cultural movement treating entrepreneurs as celebrities has changed the way that people, especially younger generations, think about entrepreneurship. “I don’t think that entrepreneurship was in the water in the same way it is today,” he said. “When I was Fenley’s age in 1979, just to date myself, the business leaders weren’t stars.
