Annual exhibit honors fallen Ukrainian photojournalist

Creative Commons license The National Press Club's Photography Team is honoring Ukrainian news photojournalist Maks Levin at the Club's annual photography exhibit. NPC's annual exhibit and catalog features four of Maks Levin's photos shot for Reuters. Reuters global photo editor Rickey Rogers provided the photos. The exhibit runs from Aug. 31 through September in the Club's main lobby. Jonathan D. Salant, a former National Press Club president, has been a political reporter in Washington for more than three decades. He currently is Assistant Managing Editor, Politics, for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, though still based in D.C. He has covered every presidential election since 1984 and has attended 18 national political conventions. Winner of numerous local, state, and national journalism awards, he recently was inducted into the Society of Professional Journalists D.C. pro chapter's journalism hall of fame.
